RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday emphasized that the INDIA bloc’s poll manifesto aims to transform Bihar into the leading state in India. This announcement comes ahead of the manifesto’s release, which Yadav describes as a vision document.
Addressing reporters in Patna, he asserted, “We have a vision for the state and a roadmap for its growth. It (the manifesto) can also be called the ‘Tejashwi Pran Patra’ (Tejashwi’s Resolution Document).” The opposition coalition’s manifesto is set to be unveiled later today, indicating a strategic approach to the upcoming elections.
Yadav took the opportunity to criticize the ruling NDA, highlighting a lack of urgency in their political strategy. He pointed out, “They have failed to declare any chief ministerial candidate or release their manifesto.” He contrasted this with the INDIA bloc, stating, “We announced our CM face ahead of the polls and are releasing our manifesto today. What about the NDA? They have neither declared their CM candidate nor released their manifesto. They simply copy our promises.”
The political landscape in Bihar intensifies as the 243-member Bihar Assembly prepares for elections in two phases, scheduled for November 6 and November 11. The counting of votes and declaration of results will take place on November 14.
Further ramping up his criticism, Yadav targeted both Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing them of failing to deliver meaningful progress for the state. “Whenever the PM comes to Bihar, he only abuses opposition leaders and engages in negative politics,” he charged, asserting that the current leadership fails to address the pressing issues faced by the people.
As the state gears up for this critical election, await clarity and innovation from the INDIA bloc manifesto. The roadmap outlined by Yadav and his team aims not only to rally supporters but also to institute a genuine change that aspirational Bihar citizens seek. His remarks resonate with many voters disillusioned by the past governance.
The assembly elections present an opportunity for the opposition to reclaim power and steer Bihar towards a brighter future. With the INDIA bloc positioning itself as a beacon of hope, the electorate will be eager to see the commitments reflected in the manifesto come November.
